17Â Brothers and sisters, join in imitating me, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us.
18Â For many live as enemies of the cross of Christ; I have often told you of them, and now I tell you even with tears.
1Â After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, “Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness,
2Â where for forty days he was tempted by the devil.
 But what does it say? “The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
1Â When you have come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance to possess, and you possess it, and settle in it,
But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
