1 Peter 2:2-10

1Â The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2Â He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters;
1Â “Very truly, I tell you, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold by the gate but climbs in by another way is a thief and a bandit.

9Â For it is a credit to you if, being aware of God, you endure pain while suffering unjustly.
20Â If you endure when you are beaten for doing wrong, what credit is that? But if you endure when you do right and suffer for it, you have God’s approval.
1Â I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
2Â Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
3Â The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish.
4Â Then I called on the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I pray, save my life!”
